Welcome to the wonderful world of Traditional Hatha Yoga in our Coccoon Yoga Studio in Oakville.
Yoga is not only the physical practices but also it is the taming the mind and the awareness of higher levels of being. “Practice of asanas without the backing of yama and niyama is mere acrobatics” says B.K.S. Iyengar, therefore we practice the traditional way of HATHA YOGA to harmonize our body, mind and soul.
We seek and learn the ancient philosophy of Yoga, to understand the meanings and values of many paths of Yoga. We offer meditation classes and yoga talks to sharpen our mind and to understand the real meanings of Yoga, enabling us to fit yoga in our daily life.
We keep our classes in very small groups of Yogis in a quiet and serene atmosphere which allows us to take care each and every soul individually. Our aim is always to keep the classes small in numbers but providing more classes at different times. Having said that we also offer private –one on one classes, where we can offer more individualized practices, working with the chakras during our Hatha Yoga Practices.
In our COCCOON our motto simply is “Do not do yoga, live yoga” and the environment is peaceful and happy. As we are a family owned and operated little studio having decades of experience in Hatha Yoga we love offering the path of Hatha Yoga to the ones that are seeking.
Our aim is to serve and share the tools of Hatha Yoga in the traditional way, not only to our body but also to our minds and souls. Therefore our Hatha Yoga classes are suitable for all ages and body types.
We believe in “a balanced and flexible body makes our mind and souls balanced and wide by the practice of Hatha Yoga.
